Instructions for Authors
The articles to be sent
should be prepared in triplicate, and be written in Times New Roman on one
side of paper of size A4. They will be sent together with a 3.5 inch disquette
whereupon the article should be recorded by Microsoft word processors. The
length of the articles should not exceed 30 pages, whereby comments and
opinions should be kept within the limits of not more than 15 pages.
The articles
should not be previously published elsewhere. On a separate page, the name of
the article and the name(s) of the author(s) should be given, in addition to
the postal address, e-mail address, phone and telefax numbers.
The abstract
of the article and keywords should be presented on the initial page of the
article.
Main section
titles should be written in bold characters; subsection titles should be
presented in italic. Tables and graphs should be, and inserted into
separate single pages. Their appropriate places within the text should be
marked.
The
references in the main body of the article and within the bibliography should
follow the standards of American Psychological Association
(APA,
1994).The examples
stated below would help to illuminate. “According to Saunders (1999),
‘partnerships with teachers ….” or “As students used library resources more
and acquired better research-process skills, their responses improved (Dunn,
2002, p.30).” By references being set in the text, the authors’ surnames will
always be mentioned until 2 authors. By works with 3 to 5 authors, the
surnames will again be mentioned fully by the first reference, and afterwards,
following the surname of the first author, the statement “and the others”
should be inserted. For works with 6 or more authors, all references will be
indicated with the surname of the first author and the following statement
“and the others”. However, the bibliography should contain the full names of
all the authors.
The bibliography should be arranged alphabetically. The names of the
books and periodicals should be given in italics: The examples stated below
would guide in cases of hesitation.
